# 1 - Reading, watching, listening material 

Food supplies ~ 1/3rd of the nutrition our bodies need. and relatively speaking it is the easy part. The rest ⅔ rds take a little bit more conscious work. In no order of priority, these elements constitute rest 2/3rd :


0) Epi-Genetics NOT Genes 

Genes -  do NOT determine whether a person gets Diabetes (or most other diseases). Genes predispose us to certain things, but Epi-Genetics, i.e. the conditions that are created in the body for conditions to either manifest or stay dormant are responsible for onset and progression of disease. Of course there are exceptions like Type 1 Diabetes and other at-birth conditions

Epi-Genetics, meaning the conditions then are created and managed by a few things

a) our beliefs and patterns 

b) Food – we put ~ 1000 pounds of food or food like objects in our bodies every year. If a few mg of nsaids and statins have such noticeable impacts, what is the impact / contribution of a 1000 pounds of intake?

c) Toxins around us – cleaners, pollution, food additives / colorings, pesticides etc. 

Dr. Bruce lipton is one of the epi-genetics pioneers. His work in Biology of Belief book is a great read. 


1) Healing is voltage - a foundationally different approach which complements Eastern / Traditional healing philosophies but is net new to Western medicine - Dr. Jerry Tennant - Healing is Voltage. Sequel to the original work is attached, but it captures the essence of Jerry successfully practicing for a very long time now. He looks at the entire physical body like an electrician finds faults in large homes, factories trying to figure out what in a circuit is causing malfunction. 

To do - review, read Healing is Voltage written by Dr. Tennant and/or listen to his discussions on the topic online

To stop - Un-intended EMF exposure as much as possible. E.g. All electrical and Wi-Fi, Cell phones signal off at least when sleeping to give the body the best chance to heal .. 


2) Leaky Gut - 80% of immunity is controlled by Gut. Dis-eased gut == Dis-eased brain / head health - Vagus nerve is the direct pathway between Gut and Brain. There are a variety of causes of which food is responsible for no more than 1/3rd by % .. this is a simple, not perfect post on it - https://www.parsleyhealth.com/blog/heal-leaky-gut-5-easy-steps/  ... way too many books on this as well. Key is this - Physical, Mental toxins create permeability in the gut and environmental toxins along with toxins we ingest intentionally  (many grains - gluten, casein from milk products, linoleic acid - from oils ..) , so stopping the bleeding is Step # 1, followed by Healing and Building a strong microbiome 

In addition to the obvious Gut issues as it's leaky gut, Migraines, multiple Auto-immune unexplainable, usually idiopathic conditions are typical manifestations including first signals of allergies etc. 

To do - focus on 'pre-biotics' . industry is full of pro-biotics . they are good, but creating the right gut conditions so pro-biotics can thrive and survive is far more important, that's pre-biotics --- most organic clean plants really .. 

To Stop - Linoleic acid (veg oils - especially sauteing, frying tadka ), dairy (with the exception of little ghee if you want on top of daal ) , grains / nuts and seeds which are not at least soaked. Ideally and in that order of priority - soak, sprout and fermenting them if possible gets rid of the toxicity and allows them to assimilate in physical body the best 


3) Oxygenation - you will see a ton more detail in Jerry's book, but without the right % of oxygen in blood, no nutrients get transported to the right places when it is needed. While nutrient absorption is blocked, toxins continue to come in from the environment, IN-ORGANIC foods as they contain poisons (Glyphosate is one such poison but there are dozens more endocrine disruptors .. _ 

To do - 

a) breathing alone is not enough. It's like practice. Practice does NOT make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. Easiest way is to get some good breathing in sunlight. even if the sun is behind clouds . b) Buy Organic only 

To Stop - 

a) In-Organic foods as the toxins within the body get in the way of appropriate oxygen absorption blocking healing ... 


4) Hydration -  good water is a good conductor of electricity - structured water. murky water loses / greatly reduces conductive properties and results in key organs starving for real hydration - drinking 8 or 80 glasses does not fix the issue. 

To do - One of the easiest way to improve water's energy and mineral profile is add a pinch of himalyan pink salt before drinking .. 250 million+ year old rocks with over 80 trace minerals which are now depleted in soil hence in meat and veggies both ... there are many more ways, but this is a quick start to drastically fortify water the way it is at Gangotri ..  a good countertop filter like berkey is a simple stop gap if fancy systems for RO, Vortation and re-mineralization are not an option .

To Stop - weak fridge based or cheap brita type filters. Town water is full of fluoride, chloride and many more things that do not belong in the body 


5) Photo bio-modulation - i.e. using light to heal. Simplest is taking in 30-60 minutes of sunlight as it has full spectrum light which penetrates through skin, fat, muscle and in bone ... western shortcut is infra-red heaters / lights .. they are ok, when there is no sun -.... Over-exposure with our lifestyles is a non-issue .. 

Sunlight penetrates through the skin, subcutaneous layer (fat), muscle and in bones. In addition to other obvious benefits , it structures the water already present in the body and all neurotransmission benefits instantly; it balances the charge in water hence cells. Body needs -25mv to create new healthy cells and -50mv to operate them in good health. Lack of sunlight hence, lack of enough structured water creates a havoc which is hard to recover from with non-Sun alternatives (there are none) 

To do - minimum of 30-60 mins per day in sun 

To stop - sunblocks , sun-glasses 


6) Alkalization - this is str. fwd. keep the body alkaline with right water, right sunlight, right oxygen levels and no more than 2 meals with no snacks during the day even if the meals are large. (based on activity) ... 

an often ignored part of this is - thoughts. An acidic thought has the same if not more acidic impact in the physical body and creates spasms and other pain .. ANTs eat our energy very quickly. ANT = Autonomic  negative thoughts. find a way that works to replace ANTs with APTs - P == Positive . reptilian brain in an attempt to protect us, is more prone to ANT storms than APT storms ... These storms can disrupt the actual electrical voltage in the physical body


7) Grounding - as the name suggests, it takes all the excess electric charge that builds up in the body. When there is excess charge it creates inflammation as the body attempts to combat it. when it never gets grounded, it creates spasms thinking that we are intentionally creating the inflammation and dis-ease happens ---- depending on where the charge is most, that organ starts malfunctioning ... bare feet on non glyphosate grass is best , no need to move if you do not want to or cannot - just sit, stand on it bare feet .

Why?

All Organic produce and its relation to Immune system function 



Non-organic called conventional has all sorts of pesticides on it. These pesticides create hormonal and endocrine disruption and create havoc for the immune system. When any toxin is introduced first, the immune system gets rid of it. It keeps doing it for a very long time. Eventually, either it gives up or thinks there must be a reason that we are continuing to bombard it with the same toxin and starts storing it in the cells. Nature never intended body cells to carry toxins, so the body starts responding to the toxicity with increased, hyper-active immune system response - histamine production and so on. 


Suppressing the immune system then, does not fix the root cause, it suppresses the symptom temporarily while Immune system is still confused on 

  1. Why are putting the toxin in? 

  2. Why are we suppressing it when it complains? 

Non-GMO

Organic is Non-GMO as well. 

Do not get fooled by non-GMO labeled foods which are not Organic. All it means is that the seed was non-GMO, but how it is raised is still full of toxins. Stay away from the marketing ..

VItamix (or equivalent high powered blender)

It becomes complex and straining to prepare, eat salads after a very short time. A quick modern short-cut is Vegetable smoothies in Vitamix. We will be using it at least 2 times a day

Chloride, Fluoride and other chemicals do not belong in our body. If they were good for us, Ganga water would have high concentrations of it already. Very-very important to drink clean water as it is the foundation of physical body health … 70%+ body is water, 90%+ brain is water. Bad water === lack of good cell health and cellular metabolism. Bad metabolism === in-ability to detox and the baseline of immune system dysfunctions 


# 3 - Daily chart (a baseline to start from and add/edit ingredients)

Warm water with 

  1. Few drops of lemon (skip if sensitive to it for now) 

  2. Few drops of Apple cider vinegar (skip if sensitive for now) 

  3. A pinch of Himalayan pink salt

1 liter 

Using a traditional microwave to warm water. Microwaves interfere with our bodies electro-magnetic fields. They also denature practically any food we put in it. 


Convection ovens are ok. Best is using stove if convection oven is not an option 

  1. Warm water - Eliminate toxicity 

  2. Lemon - Alkalize the body 

  3. Vinegar - boost the probiotics in Gut. 80% of immune system is in the Gut so getting it kick started if very-very important 

  4. Himalayan pink salt - mineralize water , there are more than 80 trace minerals in it, most of which are depleted from the water we drink. 

30-45 minutes later 

Blend the following together 

  1. Neem leaves or a pinch of neem powder 

  2. Raw haldi - ¼ inch or a pinch of haldi powder 

  3. Black peppercorn raw - 6-10 

  4. Cinnamon - ¼ inch or pinch of dalchini powder 

1 glass - 12-16 oz. 


Detox and build immunity. Empty stomach is best for cleansing protocols 

Till noon, whenever you get a hunger pang and/or a craving 

Warm water with a pinch of Himalayan pink salt 

No limit ..


Suppress the cravings and cleanse at the same time 

Noon

Blend the following ingredients  in vitamix 

  1. Celery 

  2. Cucumber 

  3. Peeled lemon 

  4. Greens (spinach, kale ..) 

  5. Green apple 

  6. Raw haldi - ¼ inch 

  7. Black peppercorn - 4-6 raw 

  8. Figs -1 or 2 max 


How much of each vegetable does not matter that much. Enough vegetables to fill the vitamix up and add water to it.

1 liter minimum  

Too many fruits and figs etc. They are very good but too much sugar creates inflammation … over time, these can be increased but for starters it’s best to keep all sugars to as minimum as possible 

Raw organic smoothie like this is the best natural meal we can give our bodies. It has 

  1. All the right nutrition including protein, carbs, even fats 

  2. Immune system soothers like cucumber (Anti-pitta)

  3. Adaptogens like haldi ( meaning ingredients which are like a Queen / wazeer on a chess board and know what to regulate in the body and by how much … they will reduce the fire if it is too much and do the reverse as well .. _ 

  4. Fiber which allows for slow sugar absorption and creates the right conditions for prebiotic activity in the gut. With a good prebiotic environment, probiotics from nature / foods are attracted to our microbiome

  5. In general - the life force and live enzymes bodies need to Thrive 

Noon

Boiled Yam / Sweet potato - 1 or 2 depending on the size 


  1. Following vegetables steamed in their own natural water content in a thick base cauldron 

  2. Gobhi

  3. Cabbage 

  4. Mushrooms 

  5. Peas 

  6. Green beans 

  7. spinach , Kale any other greens really 


Add salt, black pepper, haldi and any other mild spices


Add any other vegetables of season as well - bok choy, watercress, multiple mushroom varieties - so long as they are at least organic. If they are organic + local - thats the best 


1 avocado

As much as you want - to satiety 

  1. Stimulating herbs - Elaichi, garlic, onions, red peppers, too much heeng 

  2. NIghtshade vegetables - i.e. baigan, chillies, potato and tomatoes

  3. Sauteing, frying

  1. Herbs - essentially skip anything falls in tamasic category as it will aggravate the fire and inflame Pitta

  2. Nightshades are known to cause inflammation in various parts of the body. They might be a non-issue longer term, but for starters let's just skip them to keep it simple and manageable .. 

  3. Body is already fighting inflammation and the cause is hard to find. Adding vegetable oils, especially frying in it introduces so many more free radicals in the body - just not needed , at least not right now .. .

Noon - 6-7 PM

As much warm water as you want. Add a pinch of pink salt every now and then. 


Add haldi, black pepper and cinnamon, mulethi powder to warm water - it will make great simple herbal tea .. Mix these 3-4 powders to add to water for quick herbal, healing tea … 

No limit 

Snacking - meaning eating .. 

Body needs to heal. If it is busy ~ 16 hours eating and digesting foods it does not get to healing and getting rid of built-in toxicity. 

6-7 PM. Ideally right around of before sunset 

Many options 

  1. Quinoa khichdi - Quinoa, Moong dal / Arhar daal 

  2. Buckwheat khichdi (swap and/or combine quinoa with buckwheat) 

  3. Add amaranth to khitchdee 

  4. Add mix veg to khitchdee 


Use these base ingredients just like rice / dal and create different versions 

  1. Plain with dals 

  2. Pulao with dals 

  3. Pulao with nuts 

  4. Pulao with non-dairy, non-sugar organic yogurt (oats, almond..) 


Add as much left-over veggies from lunch as a side to make it interesting 

No limit 

  1. Vegetable oils, saute/frying .. .

  2. Gluten - again, it might be a non-issue but it is a known inflammation element so we will skip it for now 


Along with dinner (optional) 

Any fruit you want - apple, bananas along with nuts 



To satisfy sweet tooth cravings and get some good fats in from nuts / seeds

healing mask, body lotion

Mask ingredients (all organic ) :  Oils - Coconut cold pressed, Castor  Herbs (all raw - leaf and/or stem, no powders or extracts) - Giloy, Kadee patta, Neem, Tulsi Fruits - Grapefruit, Orange, Lemon, Beetroot Vegetables - Celery, Cucumber Steps :  1) grind all herbs, vegetables and fruits and/or peels with just enough water in vitamix so it makes a thick paste  2) pass through chchalnee (optional) to separate any extremely mota left overs 3) add coconut and castor oil . coconut oil might be solid , so after churning herbs / veggies in vitamix add it and blend gently (skip too high speed or heating oil - that changes it for worse ..)  Keep:  ideally in fridge. just keep enough out to last for a day or so in a katori Cheers and share with family, friends .. Have fun with your home made products.
